D-Day Camp A17 War Walk
Step into history and experience powerful, first-hand accounts of daily life inside A17 Camp, culminating in the dramatic night when Canadian troops saved a nearby English village from destruction.
The War Walk begins at 10:00 on 31/05/2026, meeting at Middle Road Car Park, Park Gate, Southampton, SO31 7GH.

Southwick Revival
Southwick Revival is a fantastically nostalgic event commemorating the D-Day Landings, featuring visits to the impressive Map Room at Southwick Park.
Visitors can indulge in the sights and smells of 1940’s England whilst wandering through the Squires Paddock filled with a vintage fun fair.
Refuel on home made cake from Ma Attwell’s tea room and marvel at the motorcade rumbling through the village!

South Hampshire Armed Forces Weekend
Eastleigh Veterans Centre in collaboration with Eastleigh Football Club will be hosting the South Hampshire Armed Forces weekend.
With the 90th Anniversary of the flight the Spitfire prototype, we feel we need to mark this momentous event in Eastleigh, where it first happened.
The Museum and Airsoft Firing Range will be present at this event.
Fareham's Big Weekend
Fareham's Big Weekend event will take place on Saturday 4th July and Sunday 5th July from 10am-4pm.
It will be held across Fareham Town with the main areas being Bath Lane Recreation Grounds, the pedestrianised area of West Street, Fareham Shopping Centre, Civic Gardens, Fareham Live, Westbury Manor Garden and Fareham Leisure Centre and the surrounding areas.
There will be a huge range of activities across the weekend including free children's activities, performers, makers market, Live music, Free bookable sessions at Fareham Leisure Centre and much more.
The Museum will be present at this event.
HMS Cricket War Walk
Uncover the hidden wartime history of this once-secret camp on a guided War Walk.
The walk begins at 10:00 on 12/07/2026, meeting at River Hamble Country Park Car Park, Pyland’s Lane, Southampton, SO31 1BH.

Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show has something for everyone, whether its the sound and smell of the steam engines or the smell of the food outlets dotted across the site, you can be sure there is something here for you!

Hampshire Air Festival
The Hampshire Air Festival takes flight on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2026 at Thruxton Aerodrome, Hampshire, celebrating “The Age of Flight” across a spectacular weekend of aviation and entertainment.
The Museum and Airsoft Firing Range will be present at this event.
Lee Victory Festival
Held on the South Coast in the seaside village of Lee on the Solent, Hampshire where we come together for several days of Celebration and Entertainment for the commemoration and remembrance of the 80th Anniversary of VE & VJ Days.
Since starting in 2021 the event is growing and we're back for our third event where will see an amazing Air Display as well as an array of WWII / Post War Vehicles & Living History, Military Charities, Crafts & Pop-Up Food & Beverage Stalls, Funfair, Music, Song and Dance with an air and static aircraft display on both days of the event.
The Museum and Airsoft Firing Range will be present at this show.
Burridge Village Sunday Funday
We have plenty of stallholders signing up for our free community event on Sunday 6th July from 10am - 4pm at the Burridge Recreation Ground.
There will be many stands from local groups and businesses as well as catering concessions and performances.
Fawley Show Supporting Armed Forces Day
This is the day we support Fawley Parish Council's Armed Forces Day. There will be music, Pride & Joy's amazing turnout of fabulous modern and vintage cars and motorcycles, plus lots of trucks and various exhibits. Come and see the Military Heritage Museum and some old and new military vehicles and re-enactors.
Entertainment will be provided by us from 8pm until we close at 11pm. A bar and hot food will be available all day. Free entry.
Eastleigh VE Day
After the success of “Revelry On The Rec” a celebration and commemoration for 80 years of D Day, Eastleigh VE Day 80 will be bigger and better than before. Expect to see a whole host of vintage vehicles, entertainment and activities, as well as vintage/retro and modern day stalls. There will also be a focus on military charities. There will be entertainment on the bandstand, a licensed bar, hay bales seating area and lots to keep the kids entertained too such as face painting, bouncy castle, vintage fair ground rides and side show games.
An Evening at RBL Park Gate
A Free Evening Event!
Join us at 7:30 PM on February 28th at The Royal British Legion in Park Gate for an immersive journey into our region's rich military heritage.
Explore hundreds of fascinating exhibits that showcase local military history and stories. An expert will present a talk on local military history, providing unique insights and perspectives. Additionally, there will be a discussion about The Military Heritage Museum and its outreach program.

Hythe AFVBC is a dedicated and welcoming community where military veterans come together to share their experiences, build lasting connections, and savor delectable food.
At this event we will be hosting a special display and delivering a short talk for the Hythe Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club in commemoration of Remembrance Day.
